Reflection

From a very young age I have liked to get out of my comfort zone. From an early age I have had the opportunity to travel to different countries and experience different cultures. Moving from Venezuela to Italy and the to the US i had the opportunity to meet amounts of people with different backgrounds.
I have always liked to learn something new, however this time Florida International University gave me the opportunity to be part of a program where they offer many events for the student to continue learning and expanding their knowledge. On this occasion I had the opportunity to participate in different events where they talked about different topics locally and internationally. I had the opportunity to connect with different people who had different nationalities. I had the opportunity to be a member of a competitive organization Model United Nations, where students shared their knowledge, opinions and we even had the opportunity to debate and find solutions to problems on a global level. Like everything, at first this program was very challenging because of the students with whom I communicated, but little by little I developed much confident on me and they helped me develop my skills more.
Participating in organizations and events helped me develop my vocabulary, my skills in college. I took different classes which helped me a lot to learn about current problems and how each factor, including our decisions, influences those problems.
The global learning program has many ways for the student to participate. It offers many opportunities for the student to learn about global problems, new policies, and above all, it offers courses so that you can learn about what is happening in different parts of the world. It is definitely a broad program with many opportunities.
