Global Experience
What better way than to experience new adventures, experiences to expand our perspective on life, the problems that participating in events and internships. Global Learning has helped me to see the problems of the world, the perspective of people in another point of view. Below you can see my experience in these last years.
2021-2022
Youth Instructor
In 2021 I had the opportunity to become an instructor for little kids at Doral Legacy Park.At first I found this experience a bit challenging, I felt a lot of pressure. I have to work with children of 3-5 years and with the parents present accompanying them. This time I was able to interact with parents and children of different nationalities, Latinos, Americans and Arabs. At first it was a bit difficult since each student, child had a different behavior than another. With this experience I had the opportunity to understand that each culture had a different way of teaching or educating their child.
2022-present
The School READY Lab
This internship is all about helping first and second graders improve their reading skills. We offer tutoring and the necessary tools they need to improve their reading skills. At the moment in these two weeks working with them, The team and I are organizing the necessary documents and tools so that they can start this upcoming summer. I have done laminations, organized binders, placed documents in order, and differentiated which documents are necessary for teachers and which ones for students. In the following weeks, we will be observing the beginning of the new changes that will be seen in the students.
Model United Nations is a team very competitive. In Model United Nations you develop leadership, writing skills, and verbal communication. In Spring 2020 I had the opportunity to join them.

I had the opportunity to experience the Tuesday Time Roundtable few times in person and online. TTR Tuesday was one of the best way FIU offer for global student to learn more about global issues.
